Overview
SLICKBAR® SL-24AT Boom is designed to protect battleships and tankers from terrorist attacks and to contain oil spill. The SL-24AT Boom has marine grade stainless steel spikes to cut the bottom of a boat and features a stainless steel wire to hook boat propellers attempting to pass over the boom. Moreover, the stainless steel wire design along the top makes the boom stronger. The boom will not break if boats try to pass over it. Water jet boats will not be able to pass over this SL-24AT Boom as the bottom of the boat will be torn by the sharp stainless steel spikes

- Boom overall is 24 inches
- Skirt is made from rigid polyester with PVC or Urethane coating to improve durability
- Float is from stainless steel or solid molded GRP cell filled with Polyurethane foam
- The spikes are made from stainless steel, and are used to rip through boat propellers which also have rust resistant
- Ballast material is galvanized chain
- Connector is Universal type conforming to ASTM F-962 made from marine grade aluminium or stainless steel
